New Full-text Products Added to the Library Database Resources by Hongjie Wang MLS, MA - Head, Information & Education Services To meet the growing information needs of our library users, three new full-text products have been added to the library database resources. These online products provide 24-hour access to premiere journal articles and books in medical, psychological and nursing disciplines. · PsycARTICLES is an online database containing more than 26,000 searchable full-text articles from over 40 peer reviewed journals published by APA and allied organizations from 1988 to the present, with earlier years in production. The PsycARTICLES database covers general psychology and specialized basic, applied, clinical, and theoretical research in psychology. To search the database, go to http://library.uchc.edu and click on "Databases." To see a complete list of journals and start dates, go to http://www.apa.org/psycarticles/covlist.html · LWW collection includes full-text journal articles from 140 biomedical journals from the publisher Lippincott Williams and Wilkins. All journal articles are fully searchable with graphics and all references are linked with Ovid Medline. Three simultaneous users can search each of the journal titles. A complete list of the 140 journals is available at http://www.ovid.com/products/journals/journals_browse2.cfm · The Lippincott Manual of Nursing Practice, 7th Edition published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins is part of Books@Ovid. Now even more clinically focused, this classic reference book is the one source every nurse needs for essential nursing knowledge.
