FDA launches Drugs@FDA Website

This new, easy-to-use website helps consumers and health professionals find official information about FDA approved brand name and generic name drugs. Drugs@FDA contains prescription and over-the-counter human drugs currently approved for sale in the United States. It also contains discontinued drugs and some biological therapeutic products.

Drugs@FDA does not include dietary supplements, drugs for animals, drugs withdrawn for reasons of safety or effectiveness, prescription drugs sold in countries other than the United States, biological products, and prescription drugs sold illegally in the US.
