We have been working to improve our library’s homepage and are now ready to implement these new pages. You will see a new look, new navigation, and new features. The design of the new library homepage was based on the suggestions from library patrons and staff. The idea is to make the resources and services that people use everyday more prominent. The left hand side is a list of library services. Many services are within one click from the front page if you use the pop-up menus. The middle section lists the resources we provide, e.g. Library Catalog, E-Journal, Databases, etc. In each category, we give some examples and they are clickable. Quick Links on the right hand side is a new feature that allows you to quickly jump to the most frequently used resources and services, e.g. Pubmed , UpToDate and Proxy Services. Please
let us know your opinions or suggestions on our new interface. You can
fill out the suggestion form online at http://library.uchc.edu/departm/admin/sugform.html
or email me at bai@nso.uchc.edu.
