New Color Printer in the Library by Sheryl Bai, MLS Head of Network Systems

An HP LaserJet 5500 Color Printer is now available in the library. It is located right next to the Black and White Printer. Signs are posted on both printers indicating which printer is color and black and white. All computers in the library’s main reference room have the option to print to color printer. All print jobs must be paid for using library copy cards. The charge is $1.00 per page.

The default printer for all computers in the library will be black and white, so users must actively select the color printer if they wish to print color. At the Print Dialog Box, you may switch printers between black and white and color. For more details, instructions are available next to the workstations. Please ask for assistance at one of the library’s service desks if you have further questions.
